Curtain-Corner.com is a family business based in Oxfordshire, England, specialising in curtain accessories and window furnishings. The founders of the business have over twenty years experience in the curtain trade, from designing window treatments, to making up curtains, tiebacks, and installing poles and tracks. Clients include an ex-prime minister, a premiership football manager and hotels in Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon and our products have appeared in DIY and interior decoration TV programmes.

Browse our online store and add any items you wish to buy to the "shopping basket". When you are ready to purchase items in the "shopping basket", click on the "checkout" link. We accept Visa, Delta, MasterCard, Eurocard, JCB, Switch, Solo cards as payment for orders. When you pay for your order using a credit or debit card you will be asked to enter your card details as part of the ordering process on our credit card processor's secure server.

Delivery charges are based on the weight of the order. The shopping basket automatically calculates these charges as part of the checkout procedure. The pricing structure is explained below.

UK Addresses
Delivery is by Royal Mail First Class or Special Delivery or by courier for poles and other large items. Most orders require a signature on delivery, so please specify a delivery address where someone is available during the day to sign for the goods.

International Addresses
Delivery is by Royal Mail Airmail or Parcel Force depending on the weight of the items ordered. All costs are automatically calculated by the software.

Please note that it is our policy to use recycled packing materials wherever possible.

Every item in our store can be delivered to an address of your choice within the mainland UK. Unfortunately we are unable to send poles or tracks to Northern Ireland, Scottish islands, Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or Isle of Scilly. Due to size/weight limitations, we can only send smaller items to international addresses. This is indicated at the top of each section in the store.

Please note that poles, tracks and trimmings will generally take 5 or more business days to despatch. Availability estimates are noted at the top of most of the pages in the store.

For international orders allow 14-28 days (there may be delays at customs which cannot be estimated).

Note: Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.

Value-added tax (VAT) is charged on UK and EU orders at a rate of 17.5%. Prices displayed in the store are inclusive of VAT. For customers with a delivery address within the EU, VAT charges for your order will be itemised in the "shopping basket".

VAT is not charged on orders with delivery addresses outside the EU.

The information you provide while placing your online order is encrypted on the site. Your credit card details are processed online by Worldpay in 'real time'; transactions are encrypted using 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) architecture. Your credit card details cannot be read or tampered with during transmission.

When you place an order, we collect personal information such as your name, e-mail address, delivery address, and telephone number. This allows us to process and fulfil your order. We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf such as fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and processing credit card payments. Our contractors have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

We try hard to ensure that you are delighted with every item you buy from us. If you are not entirely satisfied, return your order to us, unused and in its original packaging by exercising your statutory right to cancel your order, see below.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of items and receive a refund, provided that the goods are complete with all relevant packaging in an unused and re-saleable condition. You must inform us in writing or by e-mail of your desire to cancel within 7 working days starting on the day after the day the goods are delivered to you. You must return the goods to us at your cost. You are strongly advised to arrange for adequate insurance to cover the product during its return journey.

Unfortunately, where products have been specially made to your requirements, we cannot accept a return.
